Did you purchase a dog without pedigree papers, or do you own a crossbred dog? Do you want to compete in the events offered by DogsQLD? YOU CAN!!
The Australian National Council (ANKC) offer registration to every dog, whether purebred or not. If you purchased your dog without pedigree papers or have a rescue, or your dog is of mixed heritage, you can register with the ANKC on the Associate Register.
Once registered you are allowed to compete in Dog Sports, Obedience, Agility, Lure Coursing, Weight Pull, Flyball, Dances with Dogs etc.
The rules to registering your dog on the Associate Register:
- You need to be a financial member of the Canine Control in your state... ie. DogsQLD, DogsNSW and so forth.
- Up to two (2) dogs may be registered to a membership with the initial registration on the Associate Register.
- All applications for registration are to be accompanied by a certificate of de-sexing from a veterinarian.
- Your dog must be microchipped
Once registered you are eligible to compete in Dogs Sports ran by Clubs under the ANKC banner. You are eligible to obtain titles for competing in those sports for your dog!!
